COUTRYSIDE, CRICKET & CAKE!
Come with us on a journey through the beautiful English countryside, starting at a Country House virtually unchanged since the 1600’s, we will then make our way to a quintessential English village where due to its beauty several movies have been filmed, we will finish our tour at a traditional village green to watch cricket whilst enjoying a lovely cream tea.

Loseley House. A beautiful English country house that so little has changed, for the current house is still fundamentally that built in the 16th century. True there have been minor internal alterations – and an entire wing was added in the 17th century and then lost – but to all intents the house you see now would still be familiar to its original occupants.

Shere village. Shere is a beautiful, quintessential English village. The village offers visitors charming buildings, a stream with ducks, a small museum, a tearoom, two pubs, The White Horse and The William Bray, one of which we will have lunch in, as well as St James Church a 12th century church.There are also some fantastic examples of Lutyens architecture here too, quite romantic really. You may recognise this beautiful village if you have ever watched, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, The Wedding Date and The Holiday starring Cameron Diaz.

West End Green for a traditional English tea. West End Green is a traditional English Green with cricket playing (in the summer), a tin Victorian church, village pond with of course ducks and swans, waiting for you to take a picture, a Victorian pub for you to taste a traditional English ale, or one of those modern lagers if that’s your thing. We will take Tea overlooking the green with traditional scones and cream.
