TAKING IN THE HISTORY AND FINERY OF MAYFAIR
Let’s travel through Mayfair, learning its history whilst heading to an appointment at one of Savile Row's leading tailors; you will see some of the oldest shops in London, learn lots of the history behind them and enjoy refreshments in some of the beautiful restaurants in St James’, we may even sneak in a pint of beer in one of the area's traditional pubs.

Breakfast in the Wolsey a beautiful Art Deco restaurant.
Renowned today for its spectacular interior, classic food and seamless service, The Wolseley has earned its reputation as one of London’s most respected all-day café-restaurants, becoming an iconic institution the world over.

Savile Row for suit fitting. Appointment with one of Savile Row's leading tailors (the choice of tailor does depend on your preferred style), you will have your initial measurements taken, choose your cloth and discuss styles ready for the first fitting.

History of Mayfair. Looking at some of the oldest shops in London, and learning about some of the people who have shopped and lived in this fascinating area.

Cigar shopping (for smokers) or continue with Mayfair History
Purchase cigars from the oldest cigar shop in England, and have a look around its small but fascinating museum.

Drinks and light lunch at the ‘American Bar’. The American Bar at The Stafford belongs to the great tradition of the American cocktail bars that became renowned in London and Paris during the 1920s and 30s, and remains one of the longest surviving American bars in London.
Sit outside and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and fantastic service, you could even enjoy the cigar you purchased earlier.

Shopping (or more history). St James’s is well known for its variety of shops which cater for all tastes, from wines, cheeses and art to shoes, shirts and ties. Why not buy some beautiful accessories to go with your new suit.

Refreshments in traditional English pub. We will grab a traditional English Pint or even a Gin and Tonic in one of London’s oldest establishments.

Dinner in a Mayfair Restaurant. We can recommend a variety of well-known and highly regarded restaurants, from the quiet and traditional to the downright loud and gaudy, the choice is yours.
We will leave you here to enjoy your meal and the rest of your evening, though we can always recommend bars and clubs if you wish to continue after you have eaten.
